Hello and Welcome to Tru2u Glamour.
My name is Michelle Bates and I have over 40 years of beauty training. As a young girl, I always enjoyed playing and experimenting with makeup and so it was no great surprise when I ended up in the beauty industry after finishing school.
During my years of raising my six children as a stay-at-home mum, I continued my venture by attending courses and classes in order to keep up to date with the latest fashion and styles, as well as working part-tim in the industry. As the beauty industry has always been my passion, I worked as a counter manager for Dior and Lancome, doing makeup and facials.
Still wanting to be able to spend more time with clients at my own leisure, I opened a home studio, where I have continued my passion with a very successful business and a large clientele for the past 14 years. I have now moved and am very excited to be working at Rogue Hair and Beauty Spa in Hamilton, situated at 115A Nudgee Road, HAMILTON 4007.
Having had facials myself l always found l was left in a room alone while the beauty therapist would answer the phone, leave the mask to dry for 15mins, or attend to another client. That’s why l prefer to stay in the room and give each client my full undivided attention.
Already a qualified beauty therapist, I embarked on a course of studies that resulted in my qualification as a Holistic Beauty Therapist and a Women’s Health Practitioner. After having countless clients exhibit persistent health problems, often due to poor diet and/or questionable skincare products, I recognised how critical it is to have natural skincare products that give the skin the essential care that it needs without compromising other body systems.
With Tru2u Glamour I am able to merge all my passions into one business. I offer facials, treatments, peels, Hi fu treatments, Skin sculpting treatments, microdermabrasion, skin needling, and Natural/organic skincare. Facials and treatments are available Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm and Saturdays by appointment, booking online or in the salon. All skincare products used in the salon are available for purchase and are natural and organic. Products are available for clients and can be purchased in-store or online at Tru2u Skincare.com
